a.k.a "The BRICK"

The Argus C3 was a low-priced rangefinder camera mass-produced from 1939 to 1966 by Argus in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The camera was the best-selling 35mm camera in the world for nearly three decades, and helped popularize the 35mm format.
Due to its shape, size, and weight, it is commonly referred to as "The Brick" by photographers.

I used this in newspaper work. Too bad the camera companies of today cannot produce something that lasts this long.

Would that a digital camera would achieve such longevity! The C3 was legendary. My first "serious" 35mm camera was Kodak Retina IIIc. What a beauty. It was stolen from my apartment, unfortunately.
