Tom Lawrence and his 200-year-old walnut tree . . .

This tree at The Lawrence Place still produces thousands of walnuts each season.
We had to dodge falling walnuts even as we shot this photograph.
Tom uses the unique tool he is holding to pick up the walnuts.

I want to know more about that device! We have at least a 100 year old walnut tree in our backyard and I'm very, very tired of picking up walnuts!!!
