Real nice pictures and a little bit of history to go around. My search of the old Findlay Railroad which passed nearbye our old house in the late 1800's brought me here. If there is anyone out there who has any history or old pictures of the Findlay Railroad, I would love to hear from you. Hello Frank, I've been looking for pics of country club drive during autumn when all the colors are at the peak. We used to call it river road, but I always loved to drive down that road during that time. So so beautiful! So if you can, please get some pics of that for me if you will. Thank You!

Wow! Thanks for the trip home again. I grew up in Findlay on Davis Street where Owns Tech now stands. Under all that glass and steel are memories of a wonderful childhood in a great neighborhood. "Progress" comes at a price.

Your photos around Findlay and the area are priceless to someone who has been away since 1964 and who misses home every single day all day long. Thanks for the "fix".

I was raised in findlay, I WENT TO DONNEL ,FINDLAY HIGH, AND FINDLAY BEAUTY SCHOOL.WE LIVED ON LOGAN AVE, INOW LIVE IN PORT CLINTON, OHIO. WE DONT GET TO VISIT OUR HOMETOWN MUCH SINCE MOST OF OUR FAMILYS HAVE MOVED TO OTHER AREAS. MY DAD WORKED AT COOPER TIRES FOR MANY YEARS AND ON PAYDAY HE WOULD TAKE US TO WILSONS TO EAT OR MILLERS AND TO RIVERSIDE PARK TO SWIM. We (Whirlpool) have a dishwasher plant in Findlay, Ohio. I get there often but only get to see the inside of a hotel and the plant and conference rooms. Your shots of the town are GREAT! Next time I am there I'm scheduling an extra day to drive around town.

I'm a southerner & enjoy seeing northern folk so far north. I've never heard of starburgers or iron burgers but our southern burgers are mighty at filling bill.

Lake Cascade is the former National Lime and Stone Company's quarry. It is located a short distance south of the Cooper Tire and Rubber Company's plant. The quarry was discontinued as the source for limestone a few years ago and is now allowed to fill partially with water.
