The Cotswolds is a charming area in south central England containing the Cotswold Hills, a range of rolling hills which rise from the meadows of the upper Thames. The local honey-coloured limestone is used in Cotswolds' small villages for everything from the stone floors in the houses, tiles on the roofs, and fences on the landscape.
