I helped my mother pick out this Maytag automatic washing machine about 40 years ago. She gave it to us when she sold her house. It has been repaired only once, about 4 years ago when we replaced the control dial. Last year it strted leaking a littl water, but suddenly the leak stopped. This year a load got out of kilter and the washing machine toppled over off its stand onto the cement floor. No damage and it is still working fine. :)
