Hohnica Educator 10 2013 Challenge B&W #5

West Hartford, CT USA

A number of years ago I learned to play the chromatic harmonica a little (6 or 7 melodies). I stopped playing and the other day decided to try again. I just got this 10 hole chromatic harmonica (made by a subsidiary of Hohner). It is in the Key of C, but can play all keys and has a range of 2.5 octaves. Wish me luck.:)

By the way, chromatic harmonicas normally have valves (windsavers) which can stick and often did when I was playing. This design does not have valves.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 ,Panasonic LEICA MACRO-ELMARIT 45mm F2.8 O.I.
1/15s f/2.8 at 45.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I love all the texture and the shininess of the chrome.

Have fun! And let us hear you play sometime.

2.5 octaves is great for this instrument. Good luck! I have several harmonicas. They are a lot of fun.

Neat shot with great details and tones. Good luck with your playing! "V"
There was a time about 40 years ago when I almost always had a Hohner Marine Band or Blues Harp in my pocket.

Beautiful work! V.
Frank, what is the name of that harmonica?
I grew up playing the Piccolo myself.
Thanks!
