Full moon in conjunction with Jupiter

West Hartford, CT USA

I just happen to notice this while walking to the movies tonight. I checked when we got home and here is what I found. I did not have time to get the best ISO/Shutter Speed combination.

"Space 2012-11-27: The moon will again pass just south of Jupiter soon after moonrise in the eastern sky on Nov. 28, 2012. CREDIT: Starry Night Software View full size image Early Wednesday evening (Nov. 28), soon after the sun has set below the horizon, there will be two bright objects rising into the night sky. They are the nearly full moon and a brilliant silvery star-like object shining with a steady glow — the planet Jupiter. Jupiter and the moon will rise in the east-northeast, opposite of the sunset, offering stargazers an celestial treat."
