Last November (2011) When the power came on after Storm Alfred this house caught fire and was destroyed. Fortunately, the family was away. Today the house was taken down to its foundation.

I hope they had insurance and if so, the insurance company honoured the contract. Many residents in quake hit Christchurch are finding their insurance is not worth the paper it's printed on.
