Hi Francis, I've admired your beautiful pictures tremendously and would like to use them in an article I'm writing for a magazine (it's a non-profit free-distribution publication). I really hope I can get your permission to do so - won't use more than 3 or 4 of your pictures. Alternatively I have some ugly pictures I took in Venice when I visited there last year but it just wouldn't be the same because I think you've really captured the soul of the place as opposed to the sometimes crass impression you get as a casual tourist. Wonderful work, Francis. You have many excellent galleries. A small nit - I really don't care for the popular webdev CSS mouse-over fade effect on the thumbnails. I find myself tiring of wandering around with the mouse pointer. It diminishes the overall gallery impact. Keep up the great work!

this is excellent and good work! I live near Venice and I shot in this places many times (many photos, in thousand ...) but I never shoted in early and in sunset: stunning pictures! Complimenti! The week before your week-end I have captured over 5300 shot during the Carnival (please, see my gallery. thanks)
