February 2001 - Leaving the February Utah snow and cold far behind, we winged our way to Florida's Gulf Coast

I'm from St. Pete but living in Carlsbad, NM now. I always enjoy seeing photos of Florida, my area in particular. Looks like you had a good time. You were drawn to the Banyon trees. Fabulous, aren't they? Could be a Ficus, tho. Banyons have big leaves, Ficus have small leaves. And I've been to Tarpon so many times and never knew there was a nice beach there. Shame on me!! Judy

Beautiful photos from of a beautiful place. We vacation in FLA most years, and Howard Park is our favorite + of course Clearwater beach. Last year we took the Screamer trip & it was GREAT - the catamaran trip is also HIGHLY recommended.

Everyone looks great! Weather cooperated, as Mom was so worried it would not. Photo's are fabulous and NO WE ARE NOT IN THE SNOW..thanks very much..just a big rain storm scheduled for today. Snow back in your neck of the woods(Monticello). We are all just wondering what's up with Mom and her date tonight??!! Rocky thinks it should be chaperoned and Mom made a promise not to kiss on the "first" date...Only take naps together!!!! Those crazy 80+ers!! mom said this morning she was tired..that's hard to keep up with the young ones...Doesn't that make you all feel great!! Also said after the "incedent at Mease" she has NO intention to move there until absolutely necessary...so there she be. Have a great time together and give everyone kisses from California.
