Oregon Women's First Game At Matthew Knight Arena

I was able to attend the first women's game ever played at Matthew Knight Arena on Jan 23rd.
Attendance set a new record for PAC-10 women's games, 12,302.
Oregon won the game, 81-72 over arch-rival Oregon State.

The new floor depicts a forest and looks great in real life.
It commemorates the ‘Tall Firs’, Oregon’s basketball team that won the first NCAA championship ever in 1939.
I was quite impressed with the new arena, and enjoyed the game.

What a nice action gallery, Vern. The lighting, action and the crowd all give challenges but you handled it all well.

These are very good, Vern. The lighting must have been great, since your shutter speed was often 1/500s or faster, with good detail and contrast. I'm impressed with the D700!
