The last day of October I enjoyed a hike to Proxy Falls in the Oregon Cascades. Much of the hike was through lava fields, as you can see in some of the pictures. When I got to the falls, it was difficult to get a good view from the trail. I could have gone on to get to a spot below the falls but time didn't allow it. There are two sets of falls, Upper and Lower Proxy Falls. The image of the long fall through the trees is the lower falls. Upper falls were even more difficult to get a good picture of. I will have to go back when I learn some more about the falls and trails. It was a great hike.
