Miko and His Brother, Yoda
My grandson's LEGO CLUB magazine came the other day and the cover showed the character, Yoda, that bears a mild resemblance to our little dog, Miko.
I thought I might as well get a picture of them together. Notice that they are both frowning. :) It was a job getting them both posed the same.

On The Freeway at 70 MPH
Had to go to Portland today for my semi-annual eye exam, to check on the status of a growth in the eye. Fortunately, it has reduced in size a bit. Good news!
On the way, home my eyes were dilated and I sat in the backseat. Shot this picture of a triple through the window at 70 MPH with a little Coolpix 510.

Line Up For a Latte
I sometimes get my latte in early morning. It can be quite busy at times.

Waiting for You in the Forest!
I could just picture coming across this tree in the dark with just the right kind of light. Might be a bit scary.
But then I guess I have seen too many movies. :)

Window Shopping
Window shopping buys such beautiful things, and the price is right! All it costs is some time and, well, also having a camera. But the rewards are many.
(As a bonus, perhaps you will see me also) :)

Western Scrub Jay
Here is a Western Scrub Jay in a bush at Alton Baker Park. The scrub jay is very pretty I think, but also somewhat aggressive with other, smaller birds. It is quite common in Oregon.

Herring Gull With Dinner
While walking the trail in Alton Baker Park, I saw a bunch of seagulls making a commotion alongside the stream that runs through park. I was curious to know what the uproar was all about. When I got to a point across the stream, I could see that one of them had a fish that it didn't want to share with the others. Looks like a pretty big fish for a seagull to handle.
