A delight to the eyes

This image was shot with my (brand new) $30 lens, a Sakar 70-210 f/4-5.6 zoom. I didn't expect much from the lens, but was somewhat surprised that the image turned out as good as it did. The lens is certainly worth 30 bucks.

Vern -- this image is beyond a delight...you have embraced all there is to a floral study in this exceptional composition. The darker background just makes the varied hues of pinks and lavenders pop and sing as they dance across the picture plane. I love this!! So very well done! v.

Although the image looks a bit soft, the colors are excellent!!...Just goes to show you that sharpness isn't everything....
