good grief are they serious?? your image is great but not sure I'd want to live or work where I'd have to see that tin can every day... sure not my taste of architecture

My brother-in-law ( who works there ) said they put far too much money into this building and feels it was a waste..............however, it is such a pretty asset to that area and so modern looking! Makes for nice shots, doesn't it? This looks like a painting of it and is very crisp!!

Nice shot, Vern. Interesting architecture, but I wouldn't have guessed "courthouse." The Feds are putting up a big-time ugly building across the street from a very graceful old courthouse building in the South of Market area in SF. The new one would be ugly even without the reminder of days gone by, and as a native San Franciscan I'm embarassed that they've plopped it down in my city. I'm consoling myself with the fact that it's in a lousy neighborhood where nobody goes unless they absolutely have to be there.
