I know there are plenty of Nutria and Beavers in that water. We've seen them. One day a Beaver slapped the water with his tail.....it was a Kodak moment! Good shot.

Pardon, I just noticed you dais it was a nutria. I never realized how much their face looks like a beaver. I wonder if they are of the same family.I'll have to do some research.

I love this shot. Most people miss such scenes, but then they don't "take ttime to smell the roses". Your daily walks really pay off. It's amazing you can find so many things to shot in the same area. This beaver is adorable. Busy little thing.
