I just love capturing the wildlife of Oregon! I see these hawks and the Red-shouldered Hawks a lot around here. When I was able to go on long photo walks in the wildlife areas locally, I really enjoyed seeing any birds, or other creatures I came across. Now don't get out much any more, so am content with the occasional sighting and the collection of photos I have accumulated. I was able to get pretty close to this one and pulled it in further with a telephoto lens.
