On past trips to Montana, I was able to make two trips to the National Bison Range and saw lots of wildlife there. Of course the bison were magnificent. But so was the view one gets while making the the Red Sheep Mountain drive. This is a view of the Mission Mountains made from the road along the top. The highest point of Red Sheep Drive is 4,700 feet and the highest point in the range is just a bit higher, at 4,800 feet.
