I enjoyed watching this cormorant take off at Delta Ponds. It took a little longer to take off than I thought it would. But it was a beautiful sight!

Gorgeous shot, Vern, with so much to look at. Very nice indeed! Yes, I too wonder what that is in the water in the foreground. Almost does look like a crocodile eye and nose! LOL

Interesting... I watch these guys take off from the rocks on the coast. Ant it usually is a fall off the cliff catch the wind sorta thing.
