The markings on this bird seen at Delta Ponds can be confusing. It looks a bit like a Wood Thrush, but more like an immature American Robin. Check out this comparison - http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Wood_Thrush/id The spots on the chest and the white stripe on its throat were unlike robins I am used to seeing. The shot of the same bird below looks more like a robin, though I don't recall seeing the dark patch on the cheek before. Since we don't have the Wood Thrush here in Oregon, it was easy to conclude it was an immature Robin.
