Don't be Afraid to Stick Your Neck Out!

Sometimes if you want to get ahead you need to stick your neck out. If this Green Heron at Delta Ponds wasn't willing to do that it would not be very good at fishing, which it is! I really liked this pose, typical of the bird when it is about to strike.
