Delicate and Beautiful

I don't know what plant this is. I saw it growing in the water at Delta Ponds on a visit there. I thought it was delicate and beautiful.

I learned that this plant is called 'Parrots Feather' and is native to the Amazon River in South America. It is considered 'invasive' in some areas of the US. - http://www.ask.com/wiki/Myriophyllum_aquaticum

Very beautiful image Vern. Not sure of its name but it is an oxygenating plant and pretty invasive. I have it in my lake and we have to clear a lot each year.

I would imagine it is often overlooked. Lace-like fronds and a luminosity that really makes the plant stand out. That lens really enables you to get in close on that lovely detail.
