Being a bit slowed down at present, I was able to find a bird that would stand still long enough to pose for me. Hard to identify, anyone know the ID? :) I learned that "Her name is Jewel - she's a blue parrot from the movie "Rio" put out by Blue Sky Studio" (thanks Laura)

My eye seems to be recovering well, though a slow process. I am beginning to sit in front of the computer a bit at a time. The concern for the first month and a half is to keep the eye from rejecting the cornea. It was heartwarming to get all the kind well wishes. Thank you!
