You Turkey!

When I went up on Skinner Butte to see the eagle's nest, I also saw this beautiful wild turkey in the parking area. He was walking in my direction to get away from another person who was trying to get a picture with a cell phone. I am always amazed with the variety of colors they have.

They are so colorful! Its interesting how it appears someone cut each feather bluntly like you do an artichoke to get rid of the spikes. Linda S
