The Lesser Goldfinch is certainly not lesser in beauty!

I am seeing more Lesser Goldfinches at Delta Ponds. This one is perched in a tree, a great setting, IMHO. They are sure pretty little birds. With my poor eyes, I feel fortunate to capture them.

My feeder is full of these beauties right now, they love the thistle seed which I go through bags and bags of.

Beautiful wee bird, and the colours of his surroundings really set him off. He even matches the lichen on the branch.

...I started to spell "lichen" as "Leic-" before I caught myself on.
