The Simpsons at Home in Springfield

Since the creator of the Simpsons grew up in Portland, Sprigfield Oregon always felt that it was the Springfield that was home to the Simpsons. Not being a viewer of the program, it is not of real interest to me. :) However, on Monday Springfield held an official unveiling of “The Simpsons” mural on the side of the Emerald Art Center. It seems to have attracted a lot of attention, as seen in the photo I shot of the mural this morning.

I never associated the Simpsons with your Springfield, but an interesting connection, and a great capture of the mural. I like the people in the frame, too.
