The baby bald eagle in the nest on Skinner Butte is now getting close to full size. It has feathers instead of fuzz and is looking very healthy. There is only one baby this year. The last few years there were two little ones. The nest is about the length of a football field from the viewing spot. It wasn't very considerate of the eagles to build their nest so far from where we can go. LOL
