I was thrilled to find a bald eagle at Alton Baker Park this morning. It was high in a tree across the water channel that runs through the park.
Since it was in a tree where there are several heron nests, at first I thought it was a heron.
I don't get to see many eagles, so it was exciting to get some pictures.

The only camera I had with me was a little Nikon P510, which has a 42x zoom but a small sensor. I am pleased with the result. The image has been cropped.
