Miko is a Pekinese/Chihuahua mix and quite a character, quirky would be the word. He is fiercely independent, like a cat, and enjoys high places, also like a cat. He is also a one person dog, and that one person is Carol. LOL He is very protective of her. He came from a troubled background, somewhat of a rescue dog. He was rescued from an alcoholic couple by the fellow we got him from. Miko means lion in Chinese, and they call Pekinese the Lion Dog.
