Legal In Oregon

Triples, such as this one, are legal on the highways of Oregon, while they are not in Washington and California, our bordering States to the north and south. Personally, I prefer the single trailer rig seen behind on Hwy I-105. . :)

Triples are just to dangerous, it takes a very good driver too handle them..
On the highways they are just fine, it' when they get into traffic and have to maneuver in tight spots is when they become dangerous....

Holy cow! I'm always concerned about the double trucks; but now there are triples??? Looks like an accident just waiting to happen....

Super catch Vern. At this stage the triples aren't allowed in Victoria, only the doubles, but they're pushing! A nightmare to pass these, even on the wonderful Hume Freeway!

They come through much of the Southwest and can make driving I-40 particularly difficult. But just like trains they're more efficient than single trailers.

I've always kinda liked "trains", myself. Vern, have'ya ever noticed that almost all the triples are hauling baked goods???...I guess bread and pretzels aren't as heavy as other commodities. An enjoyable, colorful contrast of three different types of vehicles.

I've never even seen this before! Very colorful and well shot. I definitely wouldn't enjoy trying to pass this on the freeway (or anywhere else)!

Forget about safety, Vern. It's all about minimizing labor costs to maximize profits, and that's the betrayal of traditional American values we're stuck with at this point. The idiots who run the Golden Gate Bridge District are about to phase out ALL the toll takers so they'll have more money to spend on new ferries and buses. Ferries and buses whose riders don't even BEGIN to cover the costs of getting them to and from work, with the difference being made up by bridge tolls paid by people who are covering the FULL cost of getting themselves to and from work. How many things are wrong with that picture???
