Sticking One's Neck Out!

Great Blue Heron at Alton Baker Park. One doesn't always see one with its neck stretched out. Looks like it is as long as its body!

Good looking bird. I was kayaking under one tonight that was sitting in a dead tree. It let loose of about a cup of "you know what", which luckily missed my boat.
