Fun at the Beach - D3

We took our visiting daughter and her three children to the Oregon Coast. The two boys had never seen the ocean. Another granddaughter also went along.

This gallery was shot with the D3 and Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 zoom.

My children and I take the ocean so much for granted and it never occurs that some children have never seen it! Lovely to see these images, it shows the joy and a lovely family time. Thanks for sharing! Anthea :o)

Man, I bet they all had a ball Vern! A huge change from Montana. Bless your heart, despite not feeling up to par, you entertained them well. I hope you're up to the long drive to MT. Enjoyed the photos Vern, Linda S

Naw, I didn't want close up, preferring to include more of the setting. Close ups I feel could have been taken anywhere. I wanted to include the environment. The use of the 24-70 was deliberate. As for bending down, would you have come to get me back up again? Presently not in shape to do a lot of bending. Sorry. :)

The one of the hotel s my favourite. Don be afraid to get sandy at the beach. Bend down a little more for thos kid shots and get closer to the action (maybe a 70-200 would have been better?).
