Thompson’s Mills State Historic Site

I paid a visit to Thompson's Mill, a historic flour mill that was built in 1858, and sparked the building of the town of Boston (no longer in existence). The mill stayed in business for 150 years, ending its run in 1998.

It's always relaxing to view a gallery such as this. It takes us back to quieter times when people took time to smell the roses. A beautiful photo outing. Thanks for sharing.

Very interresting stuff, Vern! Kinda reminds me of those old windmills that they used to use for grinding the grains in the Netherlands, from what I remember from my youth.
