Some of the birds I saw in the Fern Ridge Wildlife Area during a morning walk. The most exciting thing was seeing a bittern away from the tall grass where they usually hide. It's a great place for birdwatching and photographing. The only problem is that it is so open and there is no place for the viewer to hide. It's a challenge.
