As mentioned previously on my site, each Christmas my wife and I go to Presqu'ile Provincial Park which is just south of Brighton Ontario. We have been going for a number of years and the placement of the lighthouse is such that after a few visits - the pictures are going to look the same! This year held a nice suprise! The water was the lowest I have seen and the ice went out for about 25 feet or so. The ice was far from safe - but i managed to get this image before going through the ice! I knew i wasnt going to get a long exposure or anything too creative - but this years picture from a different vantage point was good enough for me!
