Dave Joanis has mechanical trouble on the face of the jump - Nose dives hard in the air. Joey Sagan (rear) does his best to avoid the fallen rider but lands on or very near him. Both riders sustain injuries but it could have been much worse.

Weather was quite a factor that night. Hard blowing snow made flash useage impossible. Cranked up the ISO and make the best of it.
