Love Your Dog, Respect the Park

Sometimes a cute face says it better than a hundred words.
This delightful sign near my neighbourhood uses humour
and charm to remind dog owners to clean up after their pets —
keeping our surroundings pleasant for everyone.

The four rows of vertical fencing, rising in tiers from the foreground to the second-level balcony railing, create an impressive sense of depth and scale. It is such a welcoming, relaxing environment; it is up to everyone to keep it clean. A sign that is as persuasive as it is humourous.
I think their best idea was choosing that particular dog, with that specific expression. There may be cuter dogs out there, but this one sports the perfect sheepish look: "Sorry, I did it..." "I couldn't help it...", "I tried to warn Mom, but..." His face conveys both obvious embarrassment and a sense of helplessness — who could have the heart to be angry with him?
If the incident happens again, the dog's owners are the ones who will have to answer for it. ~VVVVV+++~
