It took some seconds to figure it out, arriving at the conclusion you state in your description. The Huawei camera through me. The smart phone cameras do amazing things re exposure.

at a quick glance it has a trompe l'oeil effect, suggesting a lively cafe...several people looking towards the viewer accentuate that impression. although Mr Orangeshirt keeps us grounded..
