Good idea setting the tent up in the conservatory Tony. It looks pretty comfortable actually. I hope your plans are all coming together well. Bess is such a loyal dog, you are very lucky to have such a wonderful dog, I expect vice versa as well. Do it your way Tony, good that you have Chris to give you some advice as well. All the best! Temp was about 9c so quite mild. Bess slept fine in the end. But those fireworks did spook her as I knew so in a way it was a good test and I think I handled it well and didnt let her leave. Door is open so she could just walk out of tent.
I was warm and comfortable once settled down, about 4 am! Only catnapped 1-3am. Slept 4-7am.

Had a bit of bother with Bess, tonight wasnt best choice. Loads fireworks going off between 12 and 1. Bess got very close. So close ended up on my drinks tray! Bit restless this night, had to get up, but made a tea and ate a cereal bar. Bess used that as excuse to go to her proper bed. So had to get her back down. 4am now, try to get more sleep.

I had a good sleep last night. Temp down to 3.5c. I wore my light woolly hat and gloves and two light woolly base layers, one a hoody and was quite comfortable. Bess also slept well. Did not appear to be cold. I had a flask of tea to hand.

Hey Tony,
I would just say live your life as you want to and are comfortable doing - often you can't change what other people think, so please yourself and do things your way. When the time is right it'll happen. In the meantime I shall continue to enjoy reading your tweets, blog and seeing your pics so I hope you keep them coming!
