International Bird of Prey Centre Newent UK - Take 4

I thought it had been too long since my last visit, and did my arm agree, they were totally knackered and ached like all heck after holding the 200-400 lens for just two shows. It was well worth it as I got plenty of good shots of the wonderful display that Jemima and her team put on. I nearly took my 500mm VR lens, but glad I didn't, 1, weight and 2, the 200-400 as someone once told me is more adaptable for these types of shows.
The little fast birds are still too quick for me, but I hope you like those that I did capture. I zoomed back to try to get them in the frame and then I cropped them quite heavily. Pretty impressed with the "old" 200-400VR. Not sure how they would stand up to a big print.
One of the later images is quite blurry, and i would normally just delete it, but I like the rain and atmosphere it showed. Oh, and that pesky burrowing owl, kept coming out of his burrow and going away from me. I think it must be a right wing owl. Good ol' owl.
I made one small mistake, I set the auto ISO for 800, but had the actual ISO on 800, so it never lowered. So there was a little noise, but didn't worry me too much. I figured it out and changed for the second show. I can't wait for another visit.
I used Lightroom for all the post processing, resizing and renumbering.
