I like the expression on the woman's face as she attempts to sell her piece of embroidery handbag. The twinkle in her eyes obviously indicated that she was delighted to have her face taken and at the same time took the opportunity to promote the sale of her goods. The little girl at the corner as an observer had a little smile on her face as she looks at the lady holding the bag and posing for that shot. The twinkling eyes are the highlight that makes this shot special.

I am glad I managed to get you thinking more than taking a glimpse of this shot. What I intended to portray out of this shot is to allow you to see life in a different view, how each and every human is unique and that little contentment in the face despite poverty state.

Your image puts the viewer into the picture, Tricia. As I recall, everyone wants to sell you something at tourist stops in Vietnam. I will be going back there for the second time come December, and am looking forward to it. You image is well abstracted, incongruous, and rich in human values. The eyes do speak -- you can imagine the smile behind the the product she sells.
