It saddens my heart even more to hear from people in pbase fighting, back stabbing in the name of `Photography'. Photography is suppose to be a joy of one's soul. We have a photo gallery to share our photos with people. Each and everyone of us is special in our way. Some are better than others and vice versa. But in the end of the day, what's the big deal who is `popular' or who does this or who follows the rules or whatever. I believe the existence of photo sharing is to build each other up and not to fight your way for popularity. It saddens my heart each time I hear of a person wanting to quit photography or pbase for that very reason. I always stand on the principle of building up each other in a positive manner. Kind words help to stir the spirit up to aspire to reach to the stars but unkind words are cruel and can cause a person go down to the pits. I believe everyone of us has our share of spiteful criticism but honestly you are your own best judge for your work. I am thankful for you guys for supporting my work and giving me all the positive feedback and encouragement. It's you who has brought me this far to become good in photography, willing to get out of my `comfort zone' to take up new challenges and to keep on going out to find new things to shoot and share with you guys. There are seasons where we shoot good photos and there are seasons where it's just dry and weary. But that shouldn't deter our zeal and passion for the love of photography.
I leave you this evening with this word of encouragement from a friend and I hope it will bring forth a new enlightenment to your being as a photographer and be an inspiration to others.
Whatever makes you unhappy, remember painful times lead you to your opportunity and destiny. Winter always turns to Spring, In times of suffering, you evolve into greater being.
