Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

A 60-metre high structure 'Eye on Malaysia', similar to the 'London Eye'. There are 42 gondolas with a capacity of six passengers for each gondola. The Eye On Malaysia, ferris wheel is located at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. Anyone taking a ride in its 42 gondolas will be able to view major landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers and Menara Kuala Lumpur during the 12-minute ride.

lovely shot! the black and white reatment gives this aslight fairy tale feel... I particularly like the way different shapes are placed within the frame - the round of the wheel against the tall angular buildings..

This is so cool. It's such an unusual assortment of architectural styles and and shapes. I've only been to Malaysia once, and sadly I spent all 5 hours at the Kuala Lumpur airport waiting for a flight to India. I'd love to go back for a real visit next time.

What makes this image so expressive, Tricia, is the incongruity of the contrast between the soaring towers of the 21st Century, and the Ferris Wheel -- a 19th Century invention. You collapse time here, and do it in a striking monotone that is enhanced by the moody clouds and the shimmering reflection of both elements in the water.
