Hokkaido is unique on its own. Apart from the gorgeous mountain range, a vast and expansive stretch of cultivated farmland sits at the centre of this volcanic land. In the summer, there are corn and potato fields decorated with purple lavender. And when the lavender is gone, yellow sunflowers rise up in the horizon to celebrate the long summer day. At night, the twinkling stars cover the sky like a big blanket and take our thoughts light years away.
