Surfacing Coot

The mystery of the Loch Ness Monster has been solved. It was just a coot as it resurfaced.
What I found interesting is this was the first time I actually watched a coot surface.
Unlike other divers I have observed, that swim back to the surface, the coot just bobs
straight back to the surface much like a ball does if released under water. This photo
was the next photo in a sequence of the dive and resurface. Pretty cool to watch the
water just roll off the coots back.
