Floating Carnival at The Rio, Las Vegas

The Rio's Floating Carnival includes a two-level stage show, some floats with dancers and some customers which run on tracks around the ceiling, other stationary floats which drop down from the ceiling from time to time, and sometimes a small parade which winds along the casino floor. All during the show strands of Rio beads are randomly flung into the crowd. It's an excellent show and great fun - and they do it eight times a day, each show different from the rest. Update 2010: Harrah's, which bought the Rio in the late 90's, is reportedly looking for bids. With MGM-Mirage in fragile financial shape and Wynn moving to Macau, Harrahs is probably the dominant player on the Strip.
