Early Winter

La Veta, Colorado

An early winter storm dumped more than a foot of snow on La Veta, and some eighteen inches in Cuchara. It began melting the next day, with heavy ground fog. Lovely camera weather.

Maybe not the best conditions to be out in, but certainly a "Best" as far as images go. I love this! Great job. Vote

Wonderful shot. I love how it disappears into the fog (and not too far away either)

A great image conveying the feel of the cold scene.

You made the best of a bad weather day. I like how your background fades away in the fog.

Well seen, Larry.

Brilliant shot! The clear definition of the snow covered bank, the central bent reed, and the mysterious haze combine for a superior image. v
