To me, this is one of my finest works. It my not look like much but the story that goes with it is heart breaking.
TW at one time had a “Tacoma of the Month" contest. A topic would be chosen by the moderators and the
members would nominate three or four member trucks, the mod’s would list which trucks were chosen and
the members would vote.
For the Month of August it was “Girl with Your Tacoma”. Boy did the eyes light up with the members for
this one. Now the heart breaking part. A senior members wife had just been diagnosed with a reoccurrence
of her breast cancer and it did not look good. Bill “Longbow” had appealed to the members in the support
forum for their prayers. I photo shopped Bills truck with a photo of him and his bride Michele and
nominated Bill and Michele and Bill’s bad ass Tacoma. This started a prayer support team like no other.
Due to the prayers from Bill and Michele’s family and their TW family he was able to bring her home but
sadly she did lose her battle with cancer.
