Love this gallery! I used to build scale plastic models of WWII planes and this brings back memories of my favorite planes. Although I rarely shoot prop planes, you may want to start using a slower shutter speed (~1/250 sec) to give the propellers some more blur. Great pictures!!

ps. I just noticed the date on the pictures here - yours are from the Saturday, mine from the Sunday. Looking at the skies, you had much better weather and light than I did! I chose the wrong day to go (of course!) A.

Astonishing collection of images Einar. Really well taken images, good lighting, colour and sharpness. The only negative comment would be that I would have liked to have seen more blur on the props ;-) I really wanted to go to Duxford but we went to Fairford on the following Wednesday and the Flying Legends show was just too close, but, we'll be there next year (as we're going to give Fairford a miss). At Fairford, I spoke to a guy on the Duxford stand who said it was one of the best shows EVER (which made me feel so much better at missing it!!) Thank you for showing me what I missed and I hope it's as good next year. Kind regards Barry
