Marjorie, my youngest sister (19 years younger than I am), and I went on the Pacific Crest Trail where it crosses U.S. Highway 35 on the north east side of Mt. Hood. The trail is through magnificent Noble Fir, mixed in with Douglas Fir. Took 64 photos of which 39 made the cut.
